Who qualifies to take tuition-free training courses at GPSTC?

Certified personnel of the following types of agencies are qualified for tuition-free GPSTC courses.

    • State, county, and municipal law enforcement offices
    • Fire agencies listed with the Georgia Firefighter Standards & Training Council (GFSTC)
    • Resident agencies; staff of State of Georgia agencies
    • Certain judicial agencies such as district attorney’s offices, solicitor’s offices, courts, and state marshals

Please note, students must have the approval of their agency head or training officer to register for regular, classroom based courses.
