How do I download a file from a link in an email?


Example: The Instructor for your upcoming class just sent out an email that included a link to your class manual. You are unable to open or download the file from this link.

 


Option 1

  1. Right click on the link and click “Save link as.”





  2. You may see an alert pop up at the bottom of your browser saying the file can’t be downloaded securely.
    Click the up arrow and select “Keep.”




 

Option 2

  1. Copy the file link from the email and paste it into a new window/tab and download file as normal.

 

 

 

Option 3

 

  1. Access your email from either Mozilla Firefox or Safari browser and download file from link as normal.
