What should I do if I failed my online class?

If you have failed one of our online classes, you must wait until the next month to re-register for the class. Since most online classes run from the first of the month to the last day of the month, you will need to wait until the first day of the next month before attempting to take the online course again. For example, if you take and fail an online course on April 14th, you will not be able to re-register for the same course until May 1st.

Some December classes are an exception to this rule. If you fail a mandated course (ex. Use of Force and De-escalation Options for Gaining Compliance) in December, you will be able to re-register for the course immediately. You will need to access the online course you failed, scroll to the bottom of the classroom page and click on the End of Course Instruction. This page will have a link to register for another December offering of the course.

Should you choose to repeat any online course due to failure, you must pay tuition to access the course. Tuition will be charged at the rate of $15 per credit hour. Tuition cannot be refunded after the student has begun a class. Please note the ending dates and times of all classes to ensure completion in a timely manner.

For technical problems with the final exam, please submit a help ticket with your name, student ID, and details of the issue.
